Christine Walters-Murphy


Christine has been drawing and designing costumes since the 6th grade. Her work with the PSC has included Othello, Romeo and Juliet, and most recently, The Libertine. She has worked as Resident Designer and Costume Design/Construction professor at Chapman University. Prior to that position she designed and taught at Cal State University Fullerton for three years where she designed The Man of Mode for her MFA thesis project. She has designed and worked all over the country including such places as the Santa Fe Opera, Tulsa Ballet Theatre and (yet another) production of Hair for Mr. Michael Butler in Chicago. Christine has a Masters Degree in Musical Theatre Performance and has performed lead roles in Quilters and Orpheus Decending.
