Billy is a native of Washington, D.C. and a graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge. After a tour in the Marine Corps as an officer and several years as an engineer, Billy settled on acting as a career. Also a teacher, Billy has appeared in several T.V. shows including ER, Profiler, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, and The Young and the Restless. He co-starred with Michael Beach and Cynda Williams in the T.V. movie made for Showtime, The Fortunate Son, which also aired on BET. Billy made his silver screen debut in the feature film Air Force One. He is a three-time Drama-Logue award winner for performances in Of Mice and Men, Fences, and A Soldier's Play. With a passion for Shakespeare, Billy has performed in Hamlet, The Taming of the Shrew, and Othello as Othello for the second time.
